Mr. Moxey’s Good Cheer Peppermint

The Design: The red I selected for the new tin is in line with the value of the already existing Mr. Moxey’s Mints line. It’s a soothing holiday red that is endearing, instead of asking the user not to touch. I created new elements for the special edition tin to highlight the season, but also to focus on the unique 2:1 CBD to THC blend that is not often seen in stores. The cranberry wreath illustration is simple and encircles the name of mint. The gold foiled snowflakes adds a fun and luxurious touch to acknowledge the higher price point of the product.

I worked with the sales team on content and strategy to design in-store displays (both digital and print) and marketing pieces directed at buyers. This included setting and staging photos for both store content and Instagram. To make these pieces stand out in a busy store, I used real leaves and berries to recreate the tin illustration contrasted with white and gold.

Why: Every year, Mr. Moxey’s Mints sells a holiday tin for customers to gift during the season. For the 2018 launch, the mints were a unique combination of CBD & THC. With a 2:1 ratio of CBD to THC, this was a new ratio for the industry. We launched a quick campaign that focused on the product providing the user with a sense of calm. The marketing materials were geared towards buyers and budtenders in store.
